Anue Systems To Co-Sponsor SHARKFEST ‘09
CTO to give presentation on
“Testing and Monitoring Networked Applications”
AUSTIN, TX USA; April 23, 2009. Anue Systems, the leader in network visibility solutions, today announced that the company will be a co-sponsor of SHARKFEST ‘09, the developer and user conference for open source network analyzer Wireshark®. In addition to sponsoring the event, Anue CTO Charles “Chip” Webb will deliver a training presentation titled “Testing and Monitoring Networked Applications.”
SHARKFEST is a three-day training and networking event focused on getting the most out of Wireshark, one of the most popular network and packet analyzers available. Taking place at Stanford University, June 15-18, 2009 in Palo Alto, California, the event is hosted by CACE Technologies and Wireshark University.
Mr. Webb’s presentation will review the best processes for testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting networks and applications through the use of Network Visibility tools. Attendees will learn more about key techniques for optimizing network coverage and monitoring tool utilization including: aggregation, multicasting, and advanced filtering. The presentation will also provide an overview of how network emulation should be used to test new technology before deployment, and how to accelerate troubleshooting of post-deployment incidents to improve productivity for IT operations staff.
