Ethernet Network Simulators
The Anue Ethernet Network Emulator reproduces the effects of Ethernet networks at all speeds, from 10Mbps to 10Gbps, running on both copper and fiber media. Configurable impairments include delay, packet drop, reordering, duplication, fragmentation, modification, corruption, jitter and signal loss conditions. Frames can be selected for impairment based on a variety of Ethernet (Layer 2) or IP (Layer 3) characteristics (VLAN tag, source or destination address) or any other data in an Ethernet Frame. Specific bytes within a frame header or payload can be targeted for modification or corruption.
Ethernet Network Simulators can be configured and controlled locally using the front panel, or remotely via an Ethernet connection. The included software package allows remote control using either a Graphical User Interface or through a TCL API, which allows for easy automation of common tasks.
