The Anue Net Tool OptimizerTM (NTO) saves time and eliminates repetitive configuration tasks associated with creating network traffic filters. Centralized filter templates provide you the ability to create common filtering scenarios that you can apply as needed to your monitoring environment.
Some common uses for filter templates include:
- Filter network traffic and keep only the VoIP data to send along to your VoIP analysis tools
- Filter 10G network traffic down to the critical 1G data necessary for analysis and send the data to your existing 1G monitoring tools
- Create departmental filters that quickly remove any data outside a specified VLAN
Once you have established your filter templates, you can apply them to any NTO device. This eliminates the need to perform repetitive configuration tasks.
For example, if your finance department makes a change to the VLAN filter settings, the updates can automatically and immediately be shared across all of your monitoring tools using the filter library.
